The Seek

What does it eventually all boil down to? We Dying is my instant caveat to this statement.

Then what’s the madness all about? Get a high paying job, seek love, make kids, have a swanky car or a lush house. And yes the always pressing concern to have the hour glass body or the porcelain Korean skin.

And when the above seems to have met, quench the power to let the world know about your so-called/achieved greatness.

We run & we run fast, the minute we learn to upgrade ourselves from a crawl to a walk, there isn’t any looking back. And that’s what we beautifully coin as growth.

Growth of our abilities to make a mark & rewarded is the one who makes his mark by outward accomplishment. This spiral sucks us in & yes we become a part of the matrix.

I am not complaining about any of the above, but I do want to reason why happiness isn’t about these things. Many feel happiness comes with a price. Then why is that some of the most joyful moments that we have had don't have a price tag to them. The rising sun, the waves in the ocean, seeing a bud bloom into a flower, the smell of mud when it rains, the lap of your mother, the hug you give your best friend.

Eventually, aren’t these the things we really live for. Why isn’t life defined as a course of journey & not a pie of the cake that we need to eat.

Why is possession equivalent to achievement & not the journey itself.

After all, most of the time we are running to seek, yet we do not appreciate the run. We value ourselves based on the finish line, and yet that line keeps on getting redefined on pretext of growth.

The only finish line is death, & the only thing that we take with us is what we have given to the world. No right or wrong, you choose your choice of gifts you want to give the world. Be your choice of you because that’s how the creator seeked you!
